The second edition of the UP T20 League is in full swing, showcasing not only several young talents but also many IPL stars who are dominating the league. The tournament started on August 25 and will conclude with the final on September 14 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. As mentioned, it’s not just local talent, but also several experienced players who are setting the tournament on fire with their cricketing attributes.

IPL Stars who are playing in UP T20 League

Dhurv Jurel

Dhruv Jurel, key Rajasthan Royals wicketkeeper batter and a promising emerging player for the Indian national team, performed exceptionally well against England in the Test series held in February, where Jurel scored a total of 175 runs in 3 games. He is now not only playing but also showcasing his captaincy skills for Gorakhpur Lions.

Rinku Singh

Southpaw Rinku Singh, currently one of India’s key players, has risen from a humble background to see his dreams fulfilled, whether it’s playing in the IPL and scoring 30 runs in an over or representing India and breaking pavilion mirrors with his massive sixes. He is also playing in the UP T20 League, representing last year’s runners-up, Meerut Mavericks.

Nitish Rana

Rana who captained KKR and had an impressive season with Mumbai Indians in the past is also one of the big names playing for Noida Kings in the UP T20 League 2024. With his all-rounder attributes, just as he did for KKR and MI, he plays a strong role for this franchise as well.
