The Men’s ODI Cricket 2023 World Cup is the biggest and most anticipated tournaments of the year and it has fans clamouring for the release of the event schedule. The ODI World Cup’s official dates have not yet been revealed, although the tournament is tentatively scheduled to begin on October 5 and conclude in November. Although the wait could still be ongoing, the timetable is ultimately anticipated to be made public this week.

The BCCI previously provided the ICC with a draft timetable during the World Test Championship Final, which took place in London last week. The match between India and Pakistan is slated to take place in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on October 15, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is rumoured to be unhappy about this which has caused a delay in the final schedule being released. The remaining games for Pakistan are scheduled to be played in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Kolkata.
According to reports, the PCB brought up the matter when ICC CEO Geoff Allardice and chairman Greg Barclay visited Lahore last month. The official schedule was initially going to be unveiled at last week’s WTC Final, but PCB objected since they wanted BCCI to use its “hybrid model” for the Asia Cup 2023. In accordance with the ‘hybrid model’, Sri Lanka will host India’s Asia Cup games while Pakistan will play host for the remainder of the tournament.
