India Cricket Team’s new T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav has maintained his perfect captaincy record. SKY now has 2 in 2 record in the shortest format of the game. But things were different in South Africa. The Rain gods played their hand and the first match was washed off without the Toss taking place. In the second match, India started off well and posed a big total (180/7 in 19.3) before rain played spoilsport. The Proteas were given a revised target which Reeza Hendricks and skipper Aiden Markram chased with relative ease.

With the series at stake, the Indians came back strongly, thirsty for blood. Yashasvi Jasiwal showed his deft touch as SKY unleashed his carnage. SKY went into the history books after hammering his record 4th T20I ton to match Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell. In the end, Kuldeep Yadav scalped a fifer to level the series 1-1 as SKY maintains his 100% undefeated captaincy record in T20Is.
