Virat Kohli is a man for the big occasion. Playing his 500th match for India, the former captain smashed a record-breaking century in the IND vs WI 2nd Test. Having steered India through a collapse, the 34-year-old brought up his 76th International hundred, scoring his 29th Test century.
Kohli came into bat a the fall of Shubman Gill’s wicket, Kohli saw Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane fall in quick succession. With India in a spot of bother, he took charge of building a strong partnership with Ravindra Jadeja in the middle. He reached his century ins tyle, caressing Shannon Gabriel for a boundary.

Kohli became the first player to score a century in their 500th game. He is only the 4th Indian to reach the milestone of 500 games behind Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni.
