The Rajasthan Royals are celebrating Sanju Samson’s 10 years of excellence. Their current skipper joined the franchise in 2013 and made his debut soon after. As of now, he’s scored the most runs (3667) for the franchise, played the most matches (119), and led the side in 51 matches.
Unfortunately, he had to leave the Rajasthan Royals for two years (2016-17) due to the franchise being banned. Despite missing those two years, one could still say that Sanju has always belonged with the Royals.
Sanju Samson record with RR
In his 10 years with the franchise, Samson has emerged as their best batter and has been their gloveman as well. Under his leadership, the Rajasthan Royals reached the final for the second time in the IPL in 2021. Although they didn’t come out on top, Samson had a career-best season with the bat and impressed with his leadership skills as well.
