MS Dhoni Virat Kohli: RCB vs CSK – Two of the biggest names in Indian cricket, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni went head to head in a thriller at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday. While the duo did not have the best time on the field, it was a reunion for the ages with Dhoni returning to Bengaluru after 3 long years. In a video shared by IPL on social media, both MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli had a fun chat following the match. Virat first greeted Dhoni with a hug despite the defeat and then soaked in what the CSK skipper had to say. The duo chatted intensely before Virat Kohli broke into laughter at one of MS Dhoni’s comments.

The entire incident was caught on camera completely unfiltered, providing fans with an insight into their incredible bond.

RCB and CSK play only once this season and fans have reason to believe this could be the last time they saw Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni on the field together. Fans were nostalgic even before the game began with huge cheers on their entry onto the field.  The ‘Mahirat’ brigade was once again at it following the game lauding the friendship the two GOATs shared.

Virat Kohli succeeded MS Dhoni as India’s captain across all formats. Kohli has often mentioned Dhoni as one of the people he looks up to, and one who stood by him during his rough patch. After his retirement, the RCB star had given heartfelt tribute, calling him his ‘skipper’ at all times.
