Bangladesh started the ODI series on a stupendous note. Tamim Iqbal and Co. defeated Ireland by 183 runs. It was the biggest win for Bangladesh in ODI history. After being put in to bat first, Bangladesh posted a massive total of 338 runs. Chasing the target Ireland was bowled out on 155 runs.

In the second ODI, Bangladesh smashed their highest-ever total in the 50-over format. With the help of Mushfiqur Rahim’s century, they struck 349 runs. Meanwhile, Rahim ton’s was the fastest by any Bangladeshi player in the ODI format, who scored 100 runs off just 60 deliveries.
