IPL 2023: CSK vs MI – Back at No 3 after 5 years, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has emulated the same score on Saturday, a duck. While he was hailed as “selfless” by commentator Simon Doull, Rohit did not do justice to his decision. He departed for a three-ball duck against Chennai Super Kings in El Clasico. Incidentally, the last time Rohit batted at No 3 for MI, back in 2018, he was dismissed for a golden duck against Rajasthan Royals. Follow Indian Premier League LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Simon Doull was full of praise for the MI captain as Cameron Green came out to open with Ishan Kishan. But unfortunately, the move failed horribly. Green departed for 6, Ishan Kishan managed 7 and Rohit got his 16th duck in IPL, the highest among all.
“Very selfless from Rohit Sharma to change his opening position. Not many winning sides change their order,” Simon Doull said.
