RCB vs DC: Glenn Maxwell on his comparison with Virat Kohli

RCB star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell acknowledged that the comparison with Virat Kohli was completely unnecessary and not even true. But the feeling of being compared to one of the greatest batsmen in the world was quite nice.

“I got compared to Virat Kohli once, that was a serious compliment. It was completely unnecessary and definitely not even true but I had a couple of good knocks and got compared to Virat that was quite nice,” said Maxwell.

Maxwell’s Craziest Fan Interaction in India

When asked about his craziest fan interaction in India, Maxwell said that it has happened many times in India. Narrating one such incident, he said, “Anytime you are going through an airport in India it’s pretty crazy. Yesterday, in the car there were people chasing me and Faf (Faf du Plessis) down the road and banging on the windows, that was interesting.”

The 34-year-old also talked about his fitness routine during the injury period. Maxwell added that he lost some weight during that time but he has been working hard to regain his form and perform well on the field.

“I actually lost weight. I lost 7 kilos after the surgery and I’m pretty motivated and what I need to do to get back,” he added.
