IPL 2023: In order to accommodate cricket fans during the IPL 2023 matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has extended its train timing on all lines by 30-45 minutes. DMRC stated on Monday that its last train timings on all lines have been extended except for the airport line. The Delhi Gate and ITO metro stations, both on the Violet Line, are the ones that are close to the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Meanwhile, it is worth noting that seven matches are scheduled to be held in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium over the next month and a half. IPL 2023: Delhi Metro Revised Schedule –
- Red Line: The revised timing would be midnight for Rithala, while it would be 11:50 pm.
- Yellow Line: Revised timing would be 11:50 pm for Samaypur Badli and 11:20 pm for HUDA City Centre.
- Blue Line: The last train timing has been revised for several stations. The last train at NOIDA Electronic City will reach at 11:25 pm. In Vaishali, it would reach at 11:30 pm. Dwarka Sector 21 (towards NOIDA) at 11:10 pm and Dwarka Sector 21 (towards Vaishali) at 11:20 pm.
- Green Line: The last train timings at Kirtinagar – 12:30 am. Inderlok – 12:20 am. Brig. Hoshiar Singh (for Inderlok) – 11:30 pm, Brig. Hoshiar Singh (For Kirtinagar) – 11:35 pm.
- Violet Line: Kashmere Gate at midnight. Raja Nahar Singh at 10:55 pm.
- For Pink Line: The revised timings are Majlis Park – 11:40 pm and Shiv Vihar – 11:40 pm.
The metro rail corporation stated that the extra train trips are scheduled in such a manner that they will provide connecting service in all directions from the interchange stations of Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, Kashmere Gate, Kirti Nagar, Inderlok, and Lajpat Nagar. To handle passengers on these days, additional staff, token vending machines, and pre-vended token counters will be stationed at the Delhi Gate metro stop.

The 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League began on March 31. The reigning champions Gujarat Titans faced Chennai Super Kings in the opener at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. IPL 2023 will be held in Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Dharamshala, with new sites revealed for this season.
IPL 2023 will feature 70 league games, including 18 double-headers. During the season, each franchise will play seven home and seven away games. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals will play their first two home games in Guwahati before returning to Jaipur for the remainder of the season.
