CSK vs LSG: Chennai Super Kings have shared some exciting news with their fans ahead of the second match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 3. On Saturday, the Chennai franchise revealed that they had reached an agreement with Chennai Metro for their home matches. On home match days, Chennai Super Kings fans will be allowed to use the Chennai metro for free. Meanwhile, there will be a live screening of IPL matches on LED screens at several metro rail stations. According to a press release, Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. (CMRL) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have decided to collaborate for the IPL Season 2023. They will provide hassle-free travel for IPL and CSK fans on all match days in Chennai in April/May 2023.

CSK vs LSG: Fans Can Use Match Tickets as Train Tickets

Cricket fans traveling to Chepauk Stadium on match day can use their QR/barcoded entry tickets as train tickets in Chennai. On match days, Metro Rail and train services will be prolonged by an hour and a half until midnight. The last train usually departs around 11 PM, but only on days when night matches are set to take place here will the last train depart by 12.30 AM.

Feeder buses will be available at the station to transport fans to and from the MA Chidambaram stadium, providing convenience at the doorstep to save time for fans. On days when there are matches in Chennai, metro train services will be prolonged by 90 minutes.

According to a press release, there will be live screenings of IPL events on LED screens at the Nandanam, Vadapalani, Wimco Nagar, Thirumangalam, and Chennai Central Metro Rail Stations. Those viewing the match in stations will have to pay ₹10 an hour.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni and Co will play their second game of the season against Lucknow Super Giants. The match is slated to be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 3. Earlier, the four-time champion lost their opening game against defending champion Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets.
