Over the years, Yuzvendra Chahal has showcased his brilliance. And the IPL has been his favorite playground. For Rajasthan Royals, Chahal emerged as the highest wicket taker back in IPL 2022 and subsequently won the Purple cap.

With his 4 wicket haul, Chahal went on to match Lasith Malinga who bagged 170 wickets for Mumbai Indian in the Indian Premier League.

However, to reach the top, Chahal has a bit of work to do. Dwayne Bravo tops the IPL’s Most Wickets charts with 183 dismissals. If Chahal can go on to have a brilliant season and replicate his IPL 2022 performances, then he can easily take the top crown.

Chahal scalped four wickets in the match, taking his total number of wickets in the IPL to 170, thereby equalling the record set by the legendary SriLankan pacer Lasith Malinga. The only bowler ahead of Chahal is Dwayne Bravo, who has taken 183 wickets in the IPL.
