Former India cricketers Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and Sreesanth paid a visit to Rishabh Pant’s house ahead of the tournament to take his health update. Rishabh Pant, who has been ruled out of IPL 2023, can be seen wearing a knee bandage on his right leg and he still takes the support of crutches. Suresh Raina took to his official Instagram handle to share a picture of the visit. In which the four cricketers can be seen smiling and posing for the camera. The picture shared by Suresh Raina showed the injured Rishabh Pant wearing a bandage on his right knee and a visible scar on his left knee. The picture also revealed that Pant was still not fully recovered from his injury, as he was seen using crutches for support. The Delhi Capitals’ wicketkeeper-batsman suffered the injury in a car accident in December 2022 and had to undergo surgery.
Earlier popular singer Guru Randhawa also posted a picture with Rishabh Pant. He captioned it: “So good to see my brother @RishabhPant17 coming back much stronger. Everyday growth. Love you bro.”

Meanwhile, the IPL season 16 is set to kick off on March 31. The season opener will be played between defending champion Gujarat Titans and four-time champion Chennai Super Kings.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals will play their first game on April 1 against Lucknow Super Giants. The setback has ruled Pant out of the tournament. Pant’s absence will undoubtedly be felt by the Delhi Capitals, who had relied on his explosive batting. However, in the absence of Rishabh Pant, the Australian left-handed opener David Warner will lead the side.
