It was revealed yesterday that Rishabh Pant will be present at the stadium to cheer for his side. “Good news for Delhi spectators. Tomorrow, he is coming. We have received a message from the the franchise, two hours back that he is coming. DDCA is hoping tomorrow he will come and support his team. Good news for Delhi, GMR is confirming to us that Rishabh Pant is coming tomorrow,” DDCA Joint Secretary Rajan Manchanda said in a video shared by the news agency.

Pant arrived in an SUV and made his way from the parking area to the Arun Jaitley Stadium. He went towards the stadium’s seating area using crutches and was given thunderous applause by the spectators. The young cricketer was sporting a white t-shirt and sunglasses.
Pant underwent knee surgery in Mumbai and has posted pictures of his recovery which show him making steady improvement.
