IND vs WI Highlights: Surykumar Yadav’s blistering 44-ball 83 and Tilak Varma’s unbeaten 49 powered India to a convincing 7-wicket win in IND vs WI 3rd T20I on Tuesday. Chasing 160, Team India got off to a horrible start as they lost debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal in very first over. Shubman Gill also didn’t stay long as he got dismissed on 6. However, SKY alongwith Tilak Varma took on Windies bowlers and never let India fall behind. India chased down the target with 13 balls to spare in the end.

Earlier, West Indies managed to post a decent total on the board thanks to some late blitz from skipper Rovman Powell. The senior batter took the attack to the Indian pacers and helped his side to post a fighting total on the board. For India, Kuldeep Yadav was the star with the ball as he scalped three wickets including the big wicket of Nicholas Pooran. The Men in Blue now require 160 runs to stay alive in the series.

Suryakumar was at his vintage best as he hit shots all around the ground. He reached his fifty in 23 balls and hit 10 fours and four sixes during his 83-run knock. His innings ended after getting caught at the fine leg boundary, trying to go for a six off Alzarri Joseph.

Tilak, on the other hand, played a perfect second fiddle role. Hardik Pandya came to the crease with required run rate under six. The duo didn’t risk much and completed the run chase in 17.5 overs. Pandya finished the match with a six.

Earlier, opting to bat first, West Indies got off to a steady start with Brandon King and Kyle Mayers adding 55 runs for the opening wicket inside eight overs. But consistent wicket fell during middle overs which restricted the hosts to a moderate 159.
