IND AUS 2nd ODI: Vizag Pitch Report-
The pitch at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam is set to host a One-dayer after more than a three-year gap. The last ODI conducted here was between India and West Indies in December 2019. Having said that, overall the pitch at this venue will yet again assist the batters, but in the last T20 held at this venue, a slowish track aided the spinners.
Therefore, one can expect the batters to come hard, particularly on the pacers. Spinners are likely to control the middle-Overs phase. Dew is likely to be a factor in Vishakhapatnam. Hence, the captain winning the Toss will likely opt to chase.
Meanwhile, in the second ODI against Australia, we will see India’s skipper Rohit Sharma back into the action. He is likely to partner up with Shubman Gill for the opening slot, replacing southpaw batter Ishan Kishan. Coming to the Australian side, Steve Smith will continue to lead the Kangaroos in the absence of Pat Cummins. While David Warner and Alex Carey’s inclusion in the playing XI will remain subject to fitness.
India v Australia Probable Playing XI

India: Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami
