Conor McGregor clarified that the announcement of his octagon return against Michael Chandler will be announced shortly. UFC has already booked the two combat superstars for TUF 31, which will be premiered this month. Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSport.IN.

Meanwhile, the MMA community seems mot thrilled about the in-cage clash between McGregor and Chandler, which is yet to have an official date. ‘The Notorious’ was recently spotted chatting with TMZ Sports while carrying his little son.

As enquired about the official date of his return. Conor McGregor said, “Soon, very soon. Announcement soon.”

Furthermore, Conor McGregor outlined his plans of holding the number of KOs in the UFC, which is currently held jointly by Rob Font and Derek Lewis (13). Conor McGregor has 8 knockouts in the UFC so far.

Pointing at his own resume, McGregor said, “Get back to it. I am only five KOs to go. So, I am almost there already.”

Before departing, Conor McGregor sent a special message to his doubters and said, “I will see you soon.”

Conor McGregor is currently on a losing spree and hasn’t won a fight since knocking out Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January 2020. He then suffered consecutive losses against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264, respectively.

After getting his ankle snapped at UFC 264, Conor McGregor looked like he would never make it back to the UFC cage. Although he vowed to fight Poirier for the fourth time, it didn’t appear like Conor McGregor can regain his spirits.

However, Conor McGregor has recovered completely and is back at the UFC. It remains to be seen whether he can finally return to the win column by vanquishing ‘Iron’ Michael Chandler next.

Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler- Which Weight Category will host the fight?

Both Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler have suffered their latest defeats at the hands of Dustin Poirier at 155 lbs weight class. The lightweight, hence, is the perfect weight class to see them lock horns. But McGregor has bulked up extensively and is expected to meet Chandler at 170 lbs.
