Conor McGregor injury: UFC News: Conor McGregor appears to be gaining inspiration from specially-abled MMA fighters- Zion Clarke and Nick Newell ahead of his own UFC return against Michael Chandler. Several experts also predicted McGregor’s career to be over. However, ‘Notorious’ is back and seems completely recovered. Conor McGregor recently sat down with Ariel Helwani and discussed several aspects, including his last loss against Dustin Poirier.

Recalling the ankle snap, McGregor said, “At the time I thought maybe I won’t be able to do this again. For sure, that was in my mind. I was thinking of not being able to make the walk or the roll if I was in a f*** chair, never. I was actually. You know where there is a will there is a way, Ariel. If you are willing, you are able and you only gotta look at guys like the other Notorious in the sport.”

“The only other Notorious in the sport is a guy Nick Newell is no hand, you know. There’s a way if you are with disabilities or something that’s wrong, you can find a way to compete. Look at the other guy, Zion Clarke, a wrestling champion. He has got no lower half of his body. I saw him at the event. He had his MMA debut.”
