UFC News: Conor McGregor Twitter to lose 42.3% followers

To determine which UFC stars may be most negatively impacted if Musk does indeed tighten down on bogus Twitter accounts, Gambling.com ran SparkToro’s false follower audit.

The audit claims that McGregor, the biggest name in mixed martial arts, stands to lose the most because an astounding 4.1 million of his 9.6 million followers are thought to be fraudulent. This represents 42.3% of his total fan base.

With an estimated 3.9 million bogus followers, UFC legend Anderson Silva ranks second on the list. Due to the possibility of 38% of his 7.5 million followers being false, “The Spider” also stands to lose a lot.

Nearly 2.1 million people follow Diaz, “GSP,” and Nurmagomedov individually. In contrast to Diaz’s projected 38.3% false followers and St-Pierre’s 41.5% fake followers, “The Eagle” fared marginally better with an estimated 36.6% fake followers.
