On the upcoming 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter, Conor McGregor will join Michael Chandler as one of the show’s two head coaches. After the appearance, the two-time UFC champion will finally return to the octagon to face the three-time defending Bellator lightweight title.
UFC President Dana White has intimated that the upcoming fight will be at lightweight, though no formal announcement has been made as of yet. It makes sense to have the battle at 155 pounds, where Michael Chandler is now rated fifth. “The Notorious” has stated his desire to make another title run, and a win over a highly regarded opponent would put him in a position to do so.

McGregor’s use of steroids to heal from his fractured leg sustained at UFC 264 has been widely speculated. Although ‘The Notorious’ does not need to clear testing requirements to serve as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter, he will need to do so before competing in the show.
Recently Conor McGregor has been trolled online for a post he uploaded on Instagram, which he captioned, “I laugh so hard my neck is huge.”
