There may not be any Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler fight. It has come to light to the public eye that Conor has been very casual about the available time before the fight. Instead of hustling in the gym to prepare to fight his opponent, Conor has been commonly seen partying around and having a good time with friends and family. After suffering a terrible leg injury during UFC 264 in July 2021, Conor took a significant break. No sample tests from USADA’s testing pool are listed in Conor’s record for 2023. A list of the athletes’ identities and the number of test samples they submitted was made public on March 30. ‘The Notorious’ does not appear in the table of results, indicating that McGregor has not yet participated in the testing pool.

Athletes who leave the sport and then return must spend six months in the testing pool before they may compete. Although McGregor has been injured since 2021, he has not retired.

McGregor has also said that he would just require two clean tests to be allowed to return.

Today combatalk released news that said “ Conor McGregor is “very close” to missing the cutoff date to submit his initial voluntary sample to USADA (Via Todd Atkins Show)
