Conor McGregor Changes Opinion On Francis Ngannou After Ex-UFC Champ Bags 8-Figure

Conor McGregor had previously spoken lowly about the assumed fight between Francis Ngannou vs Tyson Fury, he had said “Fair play to him. He’s done his thing. I still think he should have come to a resolution with the UFC. Who’s he going to fight? Who’s he going to fight that’s going to capture the general public? There’s no one. There’s no match-up that I can even think of, that I can even say to myself that is going to do big.”

“I don’t see that [Ngannou vs Fury] happening either. I just think there are too many better fights available for the [boxers]. The heavyweight division is buzzing. They’ve got so many fights. I wish him well, and I’m happy for him, and he got equity and all the rest of it, but he should have stayed [in the UFC]. So more power and all the best.”

Now that Francis Ngannou has bagged a paycheck of 8 figures, ‘The Notorious’ is looking forward to the highly anticipated boxing match that will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Additionally, he improved Ngannou’s chances of defeating Fury.

Francis Ngannou, a former heavyweight champion of the UFC, has been anticipating this crossover for a while. He also left the UFC for the same reason since he was unable to box for another organisation.

Despite the fact that many projected Ngannou’s demise after his UFC exit, he has made progress towards his objective. It appears that “The Predator” is going to receive the highest remuneration of his career, which is estimated to be more than $10 million.

Recently, Conor changed his statement and said, “I’m interested. Let’s see how it goes. I’ve not heard much about it but I’m happy for Ngannou, fair play to him. What weight is Tyson? Is he in shape? Anything can happen in there, so I wish them both well and I’m excited to see it.”
