Since Cody Rhodes’ unexpected loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, WWE fans have been left scratching their minds. It still needs to be determined whether or not that was one of the worst booking choices in WWE history or merely a minor aspect of a larger narrative.

In a perfect world, WWE wouldn’t have ruined what would have been among the greatest “feel good” moments ever at random. Following all, there are rumors that WWE has plans for a year or more of original content following WrestleMania. Therefore, it stands to reason that Rhodes finally exacting revenge on Reigns would be the dramatic high point.
Cody Rhodes must defeat giants to get there, and “The Beast” is the toughest Goliath to defeat. If Rhodes loses to Lesnar after losing to Reigns, that would be two significant missteps for the WWE. Rhodes is a powerhouse in terms of merchandise sales for the company. And WWE must prevent such a booking mishap.
