Olympic wrestler Bajrang Punia made serious allegations against the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) on Thursday. Punia accused the NADA of using expiry equipments for dope tests. In a video post on social media, Punia claimed that the doping agency team came with an expired kit to conduct his doping test.
The 29-year-old also displayed the syringes officials were carrying, and requested the authorities to investigate the matter.

In the video, Punia also indirectly targeted former Wrestling Federataion of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and alledged that the usage of expiry equipments could be a ‘conspiracy’ by people who want to trap wrestlers in doping using deceitful methods.

Bajrang claimed that the individuals aim to break the unity among wrestlers and entangle them in doping controversies.
Meanwhile, the Olympic-medalist is currently out on bail in a criminal defamation case filed by coach Naresh Dahiya. Dahiya has accused Punia of tarnishing his reputation by making a statement during the Wrestlers’ protest against Brij Bhushan.
