The Paris Olympics is finally open. While some have been fascinated, others have been thoroughly disappointed. Few fans even took to social media to voice their concerns claiming it to be the worst opening ceremony ever. The opening ceremony for Paris Olympics was different compared to other editions.
While in other countries, the team parade involves them walking, in Paris, the teams travelled via boats in the river Seine. Amidst all the glitter and the showoff by Paris, fans were not enthralled. Adding more dismay was the constant rain during the opening ceremony.

Fans unhappy with Opening Ceremony
It is safe to say most of the fans were not too happy with the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. Despite some good performances by Celine Dion and Gojira, the rest of the antics by the performers were not up to the standards. More disappointment came in the form of the rain.
The three and a half hour performance was marred with every rain which completely drenched the athletes. Furthermore, the technical glitches didn’t do too well with the fans. With giant screens not working and traffic jams created, fans started questioning the standards of the performance. They even drew comparison with other editions of the Olympics where things ran rather smoothly.
