India’s Paris Olympic star Manu Bhaker is likely to be the flag bearer at the closing ceremony on August 11.
Bhaker has been a standout performer in this edition, becoming the first Indian to win two medals in a single edition in independent India. She claimed two bronze medals, one in the 10m air pistol event and the other in the mixed team 10m pistol event.
According to reports, The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) will announce star shooter Bhaker will carry the country’s flag for the women’s contingent at the closing ceremony. However, it is not yet known who will represent India as the men’s flag bearer at the ceremony.
