Ramita Jindal became a sensation in the shooting circuit with her two medals in the Asia Games 2023. She is just 20 years old  and has entered the final of the women’s 10 meter air rifle event. 

Ramita, who was born in Ladwa, Haryana, on January 16, 2004, has devoted her life to shooting. She is descended from the esteemed Jindal family.

She began her photography adventure at the age of 13, while enrolled in the eighth grade of school. She started her adventure into the world of photography. She received her first exposure to shooting at the Karan Shooting Academy in Ladwa, where she was limited to a few hours of practice each day. She did, however, considerably increase her practice hours due to her dedication and perseverance.

Ramita, the bronze winner at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, accumulated 631.5 points to become the second shooter from the nation to qualify for the final, following pistol exponent Manu Bhaker.
