Mirabai Chanu’s clean and jerk record?
The 2017 world champion and Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Mirabai Chanu secured an Olympic record in the clean and jerk with 119 kg and lifted 202 kg overall. The 29-year-old will try to set a new record at the Paris Olympics 2024, where she will initially attempt 107 kg in the clean and jerk.
With a third-place finish in Group B at the IWF World Cup 2024 in Phuket, she earned India’s solitary quota in weightlifting for the Paris Games.
