Axar Patel wouldn’t have accepted Delhi Capitals captaincy, all-rounder gives this SHOCKING reason
Shanka came out to bat after the Titans lost Wriddhiman Saha early in the innings. The right-handed batter was a little lucky in his innings as several edges came from his bat but to no avail for RCB. He stroked 7 fours and two sixes during his innings before he was holed out in the deep. Shankar has been in decent touch with the bat this season and will want to continue his good run with the bat in the playoffs.
“Yeah, I think going into the playoff, chasing the total near 200 is really satisfying. I was hitting the ball pretty well so it’s a good feeling. It wasn’t easy to bat initially, the ball was slowing up a bit. I guess that’s the reason we failed to hit through the gaps. The way Gill played was exceptional, he just showed us how to play on the different surfaces,” Shankar said after match.
