Tate, 36, was seized last month in connection with a probe into an alleged rape, human trafficking, and the creation of an organized crime group. He was detained together with his brother Tristan and two additional unnamed people. At the end of January, they were supposed to be released after serving a 30-day sentence. However, the Romanian court decided to extend their custody until February 27.

Tate has continued to tweet after going to jail, but it’s not clear if he is posting the tweets himself or through a representative. He recently tweeted the following: “The Matrix will tell you that not everyone can become exceptional. My message is that with enough concentrated effort, anybody can.”

It is unknown how Andrew Tate gained access to a phone or computer within the prison to tweet. Still, it may be presumed that the information in his daily newsletters is uploaded to his social media by someone else outside.

Andrew Tate repeatedly emphasized that flies and other pests are his only pals in prison in a series of tweets from his official account that detailed his ostensibly challenging existence there.
