Former Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has revealed her net worth as she is going to contest election for Haryana assembly. Phogat gathered praise and sympathy for her Paris Olympics stint where she missed the gold medal match due to a weight issue. Vinesh gave up wrestling after learning she had been disqualified from the women’s 50 kg final at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris due to her weight.

Vinesh Phogat assets were estimated to be worth Rs 2 crore. Vinesh stated that she has Rs 1.95 lakh on hand and that, based on her income tax reports, she made Rs 13,85,000 in revenue in the fiscal year 2023–2024.
The affidavit states that Vinesh is the owner of three vehicles: a Volvo XC 60 (of Rs 35 lakh), a Hyundai Creta (worth Rs 12 lakh), and a Toyota Innova (worth Rs 17 lakh).

During her campaign in the Paris Olympics, Vinesh surprised everyone by defeating the reigning champion and one of the best modern-day Japanese wrestlers, Yui Susaki in her first bout. Vinesh reached the final with ease and was favorite to win the medal, however, she was disqualified from the 45 kg category after found overweight on the morning of the final bout.
