Vinesh’s husband, Somvir Rathee, has dismissed the rumours, calling them mere speculation. “I know there are a lot of rumours going on about Vinesh. All of this is just a cheap way of gaining popularity and nothing else,” he stated. Somvir also clarified that Vinesh has no immediate plans to return to wrestling or enter politics, insisting that the rumours of her political ambitions are unfounded.
