Rafael Nadal will begin preparations for yet another grueling season on the Tour. The Spaniard, who has won 22 Grand Slam titles so far had a good season in 2022. He won four tour-level titles that included Australian Open and French Open Grand Slam titles. Nadal is now looking to defend his title at the Australian Open this year.
The United Cup will be the only tournament that Nadal will be playing ahead of the Australian Open this year. He leads a strong Spain team that also has Women’s World No. 13 Paula Badosa, Men’s Singles World No.13 Pablo Carreno Busta.
Nadal’s Spain will begin their campaign by facing Great Britain in their first group game. It is expected to be a challenging contest as Great Britain’s side has Cameron Norrie. In their second group match too they will face tough challenge from Australia.
