Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Rules Explained: Boxing News: Later this year, Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will square off in a significant heavyweight crossover boxing bout.  Follow Boxing News Updates with InsideSports.IN.

On October 28, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WBC heavyweight champion Fury will square off against former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou in a ten-round bout.

This will be Fury’s first fight since his December Tottenham Hotspur Stadium TKO victory over Derek Chisora. The ‘Gipsy King’ Fury will now focus on defeating Francis Ngannou

For Ngannou, it will be his first fight since announcing his resignation from the UFC in January as well as his first professional boxing match, after failing to reach an agreement on an undisputed heavyweight confrontation with Oleksandr Usyk and a long-awaited home encounter with Anthony Joshua.

10-Point System, 3 Boxing Judges and More Info On Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing Match

The Cameroonian-French fighter has yet to make his promotional debut despite signing a multi-fight contract with the Professional Fighter League in May.

The fight between Fury and Ngannou to determine who is the “Baddest Man on the Planet” will be conducted in accordance with pro boxing’s established rules, with three ringside judges using the 10-point must system during the course of ten rounds, each lasting three minutes.

The Mirror claims that while Fury’s 33-0-1 record as a professional is not on the line, his WBC belt may be.

The bout will ‘for all intents and purposes be a pro boxing fight’ and will ‘take place in a legitimate ring and be overseen by the commission,’ though it is uncertain if Fury or Ngannou will have the match recorded to their official records.

Although the exact timing of this bout has not yet been determined, it is most probable that the main event ring walks will take place at around 5 PM ET.

The bout will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and both fighters will get lucrative payouts.Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Rules Explained: 10-Point System, 3 Boxing Judges and More Info
