Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk Reportedly Set for February Fight in Saudi Arabia

Fury versus Usyk in February will be in better form and will be approaching the fight with more seriousness than he did for the Ngannou match.

The IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO titles are up for grabs when Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk meet for the boxing match of the undisputed heavyweight title on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The WBC heavyweight champion Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and the IBF/WBA/WBO champion Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) are scheduled to face off in February of next year, according to Mike Coppinger.

Reports: Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk To Fight In Riyadh Saudi Arabia

Both Oleksandr Usyk, 36, and Tyson Fury, 35, are coming off of boxing fights that were at least somewhat contentious as per Michael Benson’s post on X.

Usyk stopped Daniel Dubois in the ninth round on August 26 in Poland, but not before the fighter was felled in the fifth round by the referee for a punch that was deemed to be a low blow. Usyk took his time getting up and recovering thanks to the swift verdict; he then controlled the bout and got the stoppage.

However, a lot of people thought Dubois had a good chance, and even if Usyk had won the count, the challenger may have had him as a sitting duck.

Naturally, Fury just emerged victorious in the boxing match from a considerably more difficult than anticipated bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, defeating former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou via split decision after ten rounds.

Insidesport

Though we’ll have to wait and watch, conventional thinking is that Fury versus Usyk in February will be in better form and will be approaching the fight with more seriousness than he did for the Ngannou match. The most important thing is that we will observe.

The first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era will be the victor of Fury vs. Usyk.
