Fury, who hasn’t competed since defeating Derek Chisora in December 2022, is eager to return to the ring this summer.
You’ll recall that Fury (33-0-1, 24 KO) and Joshua (25-3, 22 KO) had nonsense talks late last year for a December fight, which Fury bailed on and instead went to Derek Chisora for a third fight nobody really desired, but did sell some tickets and all that, to be fair.
While this was going on, Joshua competed in April, defeating Jermaine Franklin on points in his debut match under new trainer Derrick James.
With a potential rematch with Dillian Whyte in August, the two-time world champion is also eager to fight this summer.
Hopefully, the fight takes place this year, because, with the given month which is in September, it might again be only talks and no show similar to what the fighters pulled off last year.
