Tennis legend Boris Becker has congratulated Indian power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma after the birth of their second child. The Indian cricket superstar has been on a personal leave of absence for the last month and announced the birth of his second child, Akaay Kohli, on February 20 through an update on his social media accounts.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the 6-time Grand Slam champion wrote, “Many congratulations to you and particularly to your wife for the good news !!!”
This isn’t the first time that Becker has tweeted about Virat Kohli. The tennis legend had responded to the Indian cricketer through an Instagram story, after Kohli narrated a story of how he once saw Becker in a restaurant in London and was so awestruck and shell-shocked that he couldn’t even approach him.
Currently, Kohli is on personal leave and is expected to be in action in March in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. Meanwhile, Becker has just recently left his position as World No. 7 Holger Rune’s coach and hasn’t announced his future coaching plans.
