Indian kabaddi skipper Pawan Sehrawat has been in the news for some time now, first for his performance at the Asian Games, where he led the team to the gold medal, and now, as he became the most expensive player at PKL Auction 2023. One of the most successful raiders in the Pro Kabaddi, the raider has churned out performances at every level.
Once again, all eyes will be on him, come December, when he enters the mat at the Pro Kabaddi. This year, he will be hungrier, as the last time around he had missed the entire season due to an injury, in the first match itself for Tamil Thalaivas.
Pawan Sehrawat has been in top form, and it was at full display during the Asian Games. In the final match against Iran, which boasts of the strongest defence, Pawan was the top raider for India. In a raid during the match, against a defence of seven, Pawan jumped over the defender, leaving him in shock. The raid, though fetched only one point, is enough proof that he will wreak havoc at Pro Kabaddi 2023.
