Tel Aviv Open LIVE: All you need to know – In the ATP Tour’s Asian tournament, while the Korean Open is happening on one side, the Tel Aviv Open is all set to begin at Israel from 26th September. The ATP 250 tournament will be played for the first time since 1996. One of the highlights for the tournament will be the participation of Novak Djokovic, who makes his return after Wimbledon this year. He however featured in the Laver Cup this year this week for Team Europe. It will be played at the Expo Tel Aviv on hard courts at Tel Aviv, Israel. Novak Djokovic headlines draws
Since winning his 21st Grand Slam title this year at the Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic has been absent from the tour. He was unable to participate in US Open this year as he was unable to enter North America due to his non-vaccination status. Having recently played the Laver Cup, he will return to this event as the top seed. He has been granted a bye to the second round, where he will face either Thiago Monteiro or Pablo Andujar.
Djokovic is likely to set up a quarterfinal clash with Tallon Griekspoor, who is the eight seed in the draw. He is present in this quarter as the only other seeded player. He will begin his campaign by facing a qualifier in the first round. Peter Gojowczyk and Israel’s wildcard entrant Yshai Oliel are the other players in the quarter.
Diego Schwartzman leads second quarter
After being part of Team World in the Laver Cup this year, Diego Schwartzman will enter the Tel Aviv Open as the third seed. He will begin his campaign in the second round and is likely to face Arthur Rinderknech in the second round. Rinderknech will open his campaign by facing a qualifier.
Sixth seed Aslan Karatsev is the other seeded player in the quarter and he will face Tomas Etcheverry in the first round. Meanwhile, Roman Safiullin and Hugo Grenier are the other players in this quarter.

Fourth seed Maxime Cressy leads the third quarter of the draws, he will begin his campaign in the second round. He is likely to face compatriot Sebastian Korda in the second round. He will begin his campaign by facing compatriot Constant Lestienne in the first round. JJ Wolf and Emil Ruusuvuori are the other players in this quarter.
Marin Cilic headline final quarter
Former Grand Slam champion Marin Cilic has received a second round bye. He is likely to face wildcard entrant Dominic Thiem in the second round.
