She will be in action in the 48kg category. Manju Bamboria too will begin her campaign in the 66kg category on the day. Meanwhile, Preeti will play her second round bout. 22-year old Nitu Ganghas is one of India’s medal hopes in the Championships. Known for her aggressive and attacking play, Nitu will begin her campaign by facing Korea’s Kang Doyeon.

Manju Bamboriya, who is in the 66kg category will be up against New Zealand’s Wharerau Cara. Meanwhile, Preeti will be playing her second round bout in the tournament. Preeti had a dominating start in the first round. She won via RSP in just four minutes against Hungary’s Lakotar Hanna. The 19-year old will look to continue her dominance against Romanian Perijoc Lacramioara.
