Men’s Singles

Kiran George and Mithun Manjunath are present in the same draw. Kiran George will face fellow compatriot Priyanshu Rajawat in the first round. Mithun Manjunath meanwhile will begin his campaign by facing Denmark’s Victor Svendensen.
Both the players will only meet if they make it to the quarterfinals. Kenta Nishimoto and fifth seed Rasmus Gemke are the seeded players in the quarter. While Kiran George is likely to meet Nishimoto in the second round, Majunath will face Svendensen likely in the second round.
Sameer Verma is the only Indian in the second quarter. Verma faces Nhat Nguyen in the first round. Verma entered the tournament after bowing out from the second round at the Madrid Masters last week.
Sai Praneeth is set to begin his campaign at the Orleans Masters after his second round exit last week at Madrid Masters. Praneeth will face Malaysia’s Leong Jun Hao in the first round. He is likely to face a Japanese player in either Kanta Tsuneyama or Koki Watanabe in the second round.

Saina Nehwal features in the entry list at the Orleans Masters 2023. However it remains to be seen whether she plays in the tournament. The Indian has been out of action since the Indonesia Masters in January. Saina Nehwal will be facing qualifier Neslihan Yigit in the first round. If she makes her way into the second round, she is likely to face Carolina Marin.
Aakarshi Kashyap and Tanya Hemnath are present in the second quarter. Kashyap will begin her campaign against Japan’s Natsuki Nidaira. Kashyap made it to the second round at the Madrid Masters last week. Tanya Hemnath meanwhile directly made it to the main draw following retirements. The Indian will begin her campaign by facing Leonice Huet.
Tasnim Mir has replaced Malvika Bansod against Yvonne Li in the first round at Orleans Masters. Bansod retired from the Madrid Masters last week and is fit enough to play at Orleans Masters.
Men’s Doubles
Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty withdrew from the tournament following an injury to Satwik. Krishnaprasad Garaga and Vishnuvardhan Goud Panjala also withdrew from the tournament.
Dhruv Kapila and MR Arjun are the seventh seed. They are the only representation from India in the Men’s Doubles. Following their second round defeat at the Madrid Masters last week, they aim to make a deep run in the coming week at Orleans. They have advanced to the second round.
Women’s Doubles
Unseeded Simran Singhi and Ritika Thaker have bowed out from the first round. Sikki Reddy and Arathi Sunil too lost the first round contest against Ukraine’s Yelyzaveta Zharka and Mariia Stoliarenko in the opening round.
Meanwhile, Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa made it to the second round. They will now face China’s Li Yijing and Luo Xumin in the second round.
