Tennis legend Novak Djokovic has been in the professional Tennis circuit for over 20 years and on Monday, he faced a hostile environment when he took on Holger Rune in the Wimbledon Round of 16 at the Centre Court. However, true to his nature, Djokovic game the crowd a piece of his mind after he demolished Rune in straight sets to advance to quarter final of the competition.

Djokovic, who is known as an outgoing character, said after the match that would not accept the disrespectful treatment that the crowd meted towards him and wished the hostile crowd a ‘Gooooood night’. The pronunciation of the word ‘good’ rhymed with how the crowd booed him throughout the entire match.

Djokovic, who has 24 grand slam titles to his name, said in his after-match speech that he has been in the tennis circuit for more than 20 years and knows the tips and tricks of the game. He also reiterated that he has seen far more hostile crowd than the one present at the Centre Court.
