Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden have continued their form after finishing as runner-up at the US Open last month. The duo are now one win away from winning the Shanghai Masters title. Rohan Bopanna has been having a great time in the last few months. He became the oldest player in the Open era to reach a Grand Slam final at the US Open. Partnering Ebden, the duo lost the final against Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury
The 43-year old Indian then retired from the Davis Cup on a winning mote after playing the tie against Morocco. played in the Asian Games. He then went on to win the gold medal at the Asian Games in the Mixed Doubles alongside compatriot Rutuja Bhosale.
He has now made it to the year-end ATP Finals along with Matthew Ebden. The duo are ranked 5th in the world at the moment and will want to celebrate the achievement with a title at Shanghai.

Bopanna-Ebden duo’s campaign so far at the Shanghai Masters
The fourth seeded pair began their campaign with a 6-4, 6-3 win against Matwe Middelkoop and Andreas Mies. In the second round, they were up against Russian pair Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov. After losing the first set, Ebden-Bopanna came from behind and sealed a 4-6, 6-3, 10-8 victory.
In the quarterfinal, they defeated Jean Julien Roger and Marcelo Arevalo in straight sets to set up clash against French pair Fabien Reboul and Sadio Doumbia in the semifinal. Against the French duo, Ebden and Bopanna once again had to play the tie-breaker to win the contest.
Ebden and Bopanna had won the Indian Wells Masters title earlier this year in March. They are now eyeing their second title of the season.
