Shabassh Mithu: Taapsee Pannu unveils a new poster of Mithali Raj biopic – Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has shared a new picture of her upcoming movie Shabaash Mithu on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Taapsee can be seen donning the blue jersey with Mithali’s name and jersey number written on it. On one hand, the actor has a bat, and on another helmet. Shabaash Mithu chronicles the journey of legendry cricketer Mithali Raj. It will also tell the story of women’s cricket back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Earlier, the makers of the movie also released the first poster of the film. Taapsee can be seen wearing the blue jersey and playing a shot. Apart from the actor, Vijay Raaz will also be seen in the movie playing a pivotal role.

Shabassh Mithu is directed by Rahul Dholakia and written by Priya Aven. The movie is expected to release in March-April 2022.

Women’s World Cup 2022: Mithali Raj gearing up for a perfect swansong
