The Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have once again, become the World No. 1 team in the latest BWF rankings released on Tuesday. As per that, the duo of Satwik and Chirag have 99,670 points in total, as they surpassed the Chinese pair of Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang, after their Thailand Open 2024 win last week.

On Sunday, the Indian pair of Satwik & Chirag beat Chinese pair of Chen and Liu in the final 21-15, 21-15, to win the Thailand Open for the second time, and also re-attain the World no. 1 position. They had first gotten to the summit after their Asian Games gold medal feat in 2023, and since then have been in the top-3 or 4 pairs in the world.
