Sania Mirza named mentor for RCB Women’s cricket team

Following the success on the tennis court, Sania Mirza will now be taking to cricket ground in a whole new role. The  Royal Challengers Bangalore recently shocked everyone by naming Mirza as their team’s mentor ahead of the upcoming maiden Women’s Premier League season. 

RCB shared a tweet on teh announcement which said, “The pioneer in Indian sports for women, a youth icon, someone who has played Bold and broken barriers throughout her career, and a champion on and off the field. We are proud to welcome Sania Mirza as the mentor of the RCB women’s cricket team,” RCB wrote on their social media as they announced Sania as the mentor of the RCB Women’s Team.
