In the doubles match, the Indian combo of Ankita Raina and Prarthana Thombare managed to defeat Dabin Kim and Sohyun Park, 6-4, 6-4, in 93 minutes.
A challenging game awaits India as they take on New Zealand on Saturday (April 13). The top two teams in the six-team competition will get an opportunity in the playoffs. While the bottom two teams will be relegated to Group I in 2025.
