Rohan Bopanna started his Australian Open 2024 campaign with a tough three set win over the Australian duo of James Duckworth and Marc Polmans. After having a difficult first round, Bopanna and Ebden defeated John Milman and Edward Winer in straight sets to advance to the next round.
Facing 14th seeds Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic, the duo of Bopanna and Ebden completed a dominant display as they advanced to the quarter-final of the Australian Open 2024. In the quarters, they faced 8h seeds Máximo González and Andrés Molteni. Their clinical performance saw them set the semis in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6(5).
