Rohan Bopanna has kept the Indian challenge alive at Wimbledon 2023. Together with Australian Matthew Ebden, they beat the duo of Reese Stalder and David Pel to enter the men’s doubles quarterfinals on Tuesday in a rain-hit match that saw them win in the decider. The Indo-Australian duo defeated American Reese Stalder and Dutchman Pel 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (10-5) in their round of 16 match that lasted two hours and 19 minutes.
The sixth seeds put on a disciplined performance in the first set, holding onto their services and after winning a late break in the 11th game, found themselves leading by a set.

Pel and Stalder led 3-1 in the tiebreaker. But then Bopanna-Ebden won seven successive points to win the match.
Bopanna and Ebden will meet the Dutch duo of Tallon Griekspoor and Bart Stevens in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, July 12.
