Roger Federer Kit Display: Tennis great Roger Federer’s illustrious career came to an end after the Laver Cup 2022 in September. The Swiss legend partnered alongside his friend and rival Rafael Nadal in an iconic doubles contest in his farewell game. Following his retirement, the 41-year-old has loaned the entire outfit he wore in that match to the International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF). The Tennis Hall of Fame has dedicated a special space for Federer’s final match kit. His Blue T-Shirt and white trousers alongside the shoes that he wore during the match are all at display. His retirement letter too adorns the wall behind it. The International Tennis Hall of Fame posted a picture of the display and thanked Federer for his contribution.
Federer returned to the Laver Cup following a 14-month hiatus. Before that, he featured in the Wimbledon in 2021 following which he suffered a knee injury and underwent a surgery.
Just before the Laver Cup in September, he announced his retirement in an emotional letter. He also decided to feature only in the doubles for Team Europe. He partnered alongside Rafael Nadal. Both the plaayers have shared fierce rivalry for a major part of his career.

Though Federer finished on the losing side, he was given a fitting emotional farewell at the O2 Arena in London.
Following the conclusion of that match, images of both Federer and Nadal weeping during the post match ceremony went viral. “Someone I have admired, who I have rivalled and also I have shared many beautiful things on and off the court was leaving,” Nadal said of Federer.
Recently Rafael Nadal bagged his first-ever ATP Fan Favourite award. It was an honour that Federer bagged consecutively frim 2003 and 2021. At the age of 36, Nadal finally got his hands on the award following the retirement of Federer.
